Tournament Rules
Language and Conduct
– Participants must refrain from using obscene, foul, profane, vulgar language, or engage in abusive or intimidating behavior towards others at all times.
– Penalties for such behavior will be imposed in accordance with the penalty section of these rules.
– Taunting through theatrics, gestures, or any inappropriate behavior intended to disrupt other Participants will also result in penalties, as outlined in the penalty section.
Communication
– During Tournament play, all cell phones must be silenced.
– Participants who are not actively involved in a hand (cards in the muck) are allowed to text or email at the table. However, they are prohibited from texting or emailing other Participants at the same table.
– If a Participant wishes to engage in a voice conversation on a cell phone, they must move at least one table length away from their assigned table for the duration of the conversation.
These rules are designed to ensure fair play and maintain a respectful and focused environment for all participants. Please refer to the penalty section in the provided link for specific details on penalties related to rule violations.
Registration and Schedule.
- The game is scheduled for Saturday, May 4th, 2024, at 1 pm and will be held at Motamedi residence located at 26165 Bridlewood Dr., Laguna Hills, CA 92653.
- Registration will commence at 11:00 am sharp, and the game will officially start at 1:00 pm. If you arrive late, please be aware that there may be a short waiting period for registration.
- The initial buy-in is $250, with an additional $80 for registration and tournament expenses (Online Only). This buy-in grants you 12,000 chips. Re-entries are permitted at a cost of $250 for an additional 12,000 chips, but only until the beginning of level 11.
- As a special provision, during this final window, players with 4,000 chips or less may exercise their re-entry option.
- Players are required to lose all their chips and be eliminated before re-entering, except during the break before the commencement of level 11.
- We will have a redraw and players will be assigned new seats after the dinner break.
- We anticipate approximately 81 players, so we kindly request that everyone treats our host’s venue as if it were their own. Cleaning up after yourself, and even helping others, is an absolute necessity.
- Out of respect for fellow players and the family residence, please maintain a low noise level at all times.
- The $80 registration fee, covering tournament expenses including dinner, drinks, and appetizers, must be paid online at hbhpoker.com. Please note that this registration fee is non-refundable.
- We encourage carpooling, LYFT, and UBER for transportation to the event.
- We are fortunate to have some players who have volunteered to assist us with the floor and tables. Their contributions are greatly appreciated.
- All levels will have a duration of 25 minutes each.
- Payouts will be awarded to the top 20% of players.
- The responsibility for shuffling the second deck falls to the Big Blind, while the Cut-Off position will handle the card-cutting process.

HBH prohibits the use of obscene or foul language at any time. Any Participant who uses such language or makes a foul, profane, obscene or vulgar statement, or speaks abusively or in an intimidating manner to another Participant, will be penalized. These penalties will be levied based on penalty section.
Any Participant who taunts another Participant through theatrics or gestures or engages in any form of inappropriate behavior intended to disrupt other Participants in an Event will be subject to penalty in accordance with penalty section.
Communication: All cell phones must be silenced during Tournament play. Participants not involved in a hand (cards in muck) shall be permitted to text/email at the table but shall not be permitted to text/email any other Participant at the same table. All Participants desiring to talk on a cell phone must be at least one table length away from their assigned table during all said communication.

2. We start registrations at 11:00am and the game starts at 1:00pm Sharp. Late registration is possible but if you are late please, expect some wait time to register.
3. 1st buy $250 + $80(Registration/Tournament Expenses Online Only), 12000 chips, Re-entries ($250 for 12000 chips) until start of level 11
4. As an exception and only during this last window player with 4000 chips or less may exercise their re-entry option.
5. Players must have lost all chips and be eliminated in order to re-enter, except during the break before start of level 11.
6. Since there are expected about 81 players, we need everyone to treat our host’s place as his own, cleaning after yourself (and others) is a MUST.
7. Noise MUST always be kept at its lowest level as respect to other players.
8. $80 Registration(Tournament Expenses Dinner, Drinks & Appetizers) is collected online hbhpoker.com the registration fee is not refundable.
9. Carpooling, LYFT and UBER is encouraged.
10. We are blessed that some of the players stepped up to help us and the floor and tables.
11. All levels will be 25 minutes.
12. Payouts to the final 20% of players.
13. Big Blind shuffles the second deck and cut-off position cuts the cards.
